Barius Ternby was a scholar who lived sometime in between the first and second Broken Age. He specialized in finding, copying, and creating historical texts, almost to a fanatical degree. Ternby is most well know for A Brief History of Taladria in which he details the history of Taladria from the first Broken Age up to the publishing of the book. Although most historical text from before the first Broken Age was lost during the rampage of the Tarrasque, Ternby still touches on the major events from the time period. It is said that Ternby had an underground repository of historical knowledge hidden somewhere underneath Taladria. According to the rumors, this collection holds much more information than Ternby ever published and even stores a sizable amount of texts from before the first coming of the Tarrasque. However, no substantial evidence of such a collection exists.
